Product Description
Mineral based hard coating material enriched with chemical additives.

Areas of Use
It can be applied on interior and exterior walls, interior floors, mineral surfaces such as black plaster, concrete, old painted surfaces (water-based) and gypsum plaster, gypsum board by priming with GRANITO PRIMER product. It can also be used on difficult surfaces such as bathrooms and kitchens if surface protection is provided as specified in the application instructions.

Application Instructions
The application surfaces should be cleaned from dust, dirt and oil that reduce adhesion, and should be completely cleaned from old and blistered paint layers and made dry, solid and clean. Wait at least 28 days for the surface to cure before applying on new mineral surfaces. All waterproofing measures of the building must be taken. Old synthetic-based surfaces should be sanded thoroughly and sanding dust should be removed from the surface. If necessary, cracks on the surface should be filled with TEKNOREP.
20 kg GRANITO DIAMOND should be slowly poured into 4.5 - 5.5 liters of clean water and mixed until there are no lumps. White GRANITO DIAMOND can be colored with colorants. Allow the mortar to rest for 1-3 minutes for the mortar to mature and mix again before starting the application. Apply GRANITO DIAMOND in 2 or 3 coats on the surface prepared as specified in the application instructions with a steel trowel, waiting 3-4 hours between coats. Total application thickness should be 2-4 mm. GRANITO DIAMOND pattern is applied with a steel trowel and/or an effect trowel. Gloss and pattern can be obtained by pressing hard with a trowel on the topcoat application or by sanding 1 day after the topcoat application. 2-3 days after the application is completed (complete drying), GRANITO POLISH should be applied to the entire surface according to the place and type of use.

Application Notes / Limitations
- Since GRANITO DIAMOND has an absorbent structure like marble and natural stones, GRANITO POLISH should be applied at certain intervals according to the place and type of use in order to reduce surface absorbency and ensure its durability.
- GRANITO POLISH gives a medium gloss appearance. TEKNOBOND 660 should also be preferred for a brighter appearance.
- TEKNOBOND 660 should be preferred on surfaces that may be exposed to acids, alkalis, detergents, sea water and oils.
- Where GRANITO POLISH is used, wet cloth or neutral cleaners should be used for surface cleaning.
- The product should not be cleaned with abrasive materials.
- If a dark color is selected, the density of the mortar will decrease as too much liquid colorant will enter the mixture. In such cases, the amount of water to be added should be reduced and added in a controlled manner.
- No additives not specified in the application instructions should be added to the product.
- In case of application on ceramic coated surfaces, it is recommended to apply with mesh reinforcement.
- During the application and for the following 24 hours, the temperature of the environment and the surface to be treated should be at least (+)5 °C and the surface should not receive precipitation.
- Do not apply in very hot weather, under direct sun, strong wind, fog, high relative humidity or in weather where precipitation is expected.
- Indoor applications should not be directly exposed to fans or heaters to accelerate surface drying.
- Paper tape should be used on large surfaces and during work breaks so that the joints are not evident, or work with a sufficient number of applicators to ensure wet-on-wet application without interruption and without the material drying.
- Surfaces that are connected to each other should be applied at once. It is recommended to leave joints for large area applications on indoor floors.
- The application should be done by trained persons.
- The prepared mortar should be consumed within 15-20 minutes and the mortar that has expired should be discarded.
- Application tools should be washed with water immediately after use.
