Product Description

Application Instructions
Surface Quality: Concrete and plasters must be cured for at least 28 days. Mortar residue on the cured surface, etc. It is applied after it is removed by light
sanding or brushing. Old paint, dirt, dust, etc. on the old concrete and plaster surface. loose particles such as sandblasting, scraping, brushing methods are
removed. Oil and grease residues are cleaned with detergent and water. If neutralization is required, the surface is wiped with 3-4% hydrochloric acid or acetic
acid solution and washed with water. Surface Preparation: The surface to be applied should be free of any oil, rust, detergent, etc. It should be free
from sticking inhibitors, loose and volatile particles. Concrete surface moisture should be below 4%. If there are situations that require repair such as cracks
or cavities on the surface, they should be repaired with appropriate TEKNO cement-based or epoxy-based mortars.

Surface and Ambient Temperature: (+5 °C)- (+30 °C)

Application Instructions: Tekno Stone Carpet 100 2K A and B components are mixed homogeneously for 3 minutes in a separate container; It is mixed together in a
ratio of 1:20 (binder: stone) to be homogeneous. The prepared mixture is applied to the surface with the help of a trowel so that a smooth surface is obtained.

Curing Phase: Before Tekno Stone Carpet 100 2K completes its curing, water should not be allowed on it and it should not be opened to pedestrian traffic.
Opening time to traffic min. It is 24 hours. This period may vary according to weather conditions. It may take longer in cold weather.

Application Method/ Equipment: Trowel

Mixing: It should be done with a low speed mixer. Mixing by hand should be avoided.

Consumption: 6.25 - 7.5% by weight of binder is used in the amount of stone to be used in the application, this rate may vary according to the size of the stone.

Cleaning: After the application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35°C),
rain and frost. Since the hardening will be completed shortly after the application, care should be taken and hands should be washed with soap and water.

Cleaning of Equipment: Equipment should be cleaned with Boat Thinner immediately after the application, before it hardens.

Potlife: Approx. 35 minutes at 20°C

Cleaning Time: Approximately 35 minutes at 20°C

Application Notes/ Limitations
• Use gloves, goggles and protective clothing.
• In case of contact with skin, wash with soap and
water.
• Do not swallow, do not use empty packages to store
foodstuffs and do not throw them into fire.
